Lifan Motors Booms in the 3rd (Africa) China Commodities, Technology & Services Expo

On November 12, 2015 (Africa) China Commodities, Technology and Services Expo was grandly opened in Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia, which was jointly organized by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China, Chongqing municipal government and Fujian municipal government. As the key representative of Chongqing manufacturing industry, Lifan Motors, taking X50, X60, 530 and L7 to take part in the show, received extensive attentions from all circles in Ethiopia.

The auto product and technology at Lifan Motors booth cut a striking figure and attracted a lot of attentions. After the opening ceremony, the vice minister of the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China Qian Keming and the state minister of Industry Ethiopia Tadese firstly came to Lifan Motors booth, and were attracted by Lifan MPV L7 which is coming soon in Ethiopia. They had a further discussion with the general manger of Lifan Motors Ethiopia Liu Jiang. The minister Qian, with strong interest, invited the state minister Tadese to experience Lifan L7 closely. Tadese gave a high praise and said that he was quite optimistic to the sales prospect of L7 in Ethiopia. Meanwhile, he highly praised Lifan Motors which made great contributions to Ethiopian industry.

As learned, since 2013, China Commodities, Technology and Services Expo has increasingly become the key platform for strengthening the economic and trade cooperation between China and Ethiopia. The expo lasts for three days, covering electric power and new energy technical equipment, engineering machinery and agricultural machinery technology, auto and parts, as well as consuming and electronic products. Over 150 enterprises from tens of provinces in China came to take part in the expo, collectively showing Chinese product, technology and service which are suitable for Africa. The vice minister of Chinese Commerce Ministry Qian Keming, Ethiopia Prime Minister Advisor Sufian Ahmed, the state minister of ministry Ethiopia Tadese, Commissioner for Trade &Industry of AU Fatima Haram, Chinese Ambassador to Ethiopia La Yifan and the ambassador of Chinese diplomatic corps to African union Kuang Weilin were present at the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. Nearly 30 diplomatic envoys from Mauritania, Turkey, Zimbabwe, the Niger, Guinea, Switzerland and Argentina in Ethiopia and 500 national and foreign guests were present at the opening ceremony.
