On April 20-29, 2015, the grand opening of 2015 (the 16th) Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition, an international great event in auto field, is held at National Convention Center (Hongqiao), attracting a large number of domestic & foreign famous brands to participate. Lifan Motors, located at 6# Booth of No.2 Hall, presents many bright spots including an unprecedented powerful product lineup of new models and powers.

At this Shanghai Auto Exhibition, there are two concept vehicles from Lifan Motors exposed to the audience, and both of them are SUV models. Positioned as a compact SUV, Lifan X40 is characterized by short and sweet appearance design, adoption of hexagonal grille with three cross bars in the middle, connection with the head combination lamps on both sides and elegant styling. In addition, SUV temperament is highlighted, by virtue of black decoration outfitted at the location of fog lamps on both sides. For Lifan’ s X70 concept vehicle, the front air intake is provided with single-bar grille, the styling of front headlamps is full of personality, and the design is extremely robust in combination with massive front bumper design and protruding wheel eyebrow. According to reports, with the application of all-wheel drive technology, this model is expected to gradually accumulate momentum in overseas market in 2016. When the time comes, the SUV product lineups of Lifan Motors will usher in further expansions.

Lifan possesses matured performances of CVT technology, and the series models equipped with CVT gearboxes will make their unified debuts at Shanghai Auto Exhibition. Among them, the long-expected Lifan X60 CVT, featured with more robust power and fuel efficiency, will successively embark on overseas markets this year. Moreover, it is also planned to launch X 60 face-lifted CVT with more exquisite styling and comprehensive configuration. Lifan 720 CVT serves as the first 1.8L power model provided with CVT, and the vehicle performances have gradually improved and become more stable, after years of market test. As the first intermediate & high grade vehicle, Lifan 820 undertakes the double mission of auto quality and brand promotion, depending on its 2.0 T displacement and 6AT gearbox.

At this Auto Exhibition, Lifan Motors has also exhibited two Lifan X50 vehicles. It is reported that this model will appear on overseas market within 2015. Positioned as a new concept Mini SUV, Lifan X50 has unique innovation in its styling design. Instead of inheriting the wild style of Lifan X60, this model owns abundant sporty flavor and perfect integration of personality fashion and urban cross-country element. Furthermore, Lifan X50 CVT model possesses outstanding maneuverability, and the provision of Schaeffler dual mass flywheel (DMFW), a well-known German brand, enables driving to become more smooth and comfortable. Meanwhile, the power is swift and violent due to the application of front McPherson independent suspension + rear trailing arm type semi-independent split control suspension. At the news conference of this Auto Exhibition, Lifan Motors also reveals the message that Lifan X50 will officially go on an expedition in China CRC Rally Championship. As the first and only compact SUV amongst vehicles of the same class that participate in this event, Lifan X50 will demonstrate its excellent quality on behalf of Lifan Motors.

Besides, Lifan 620 Generation II, a brand new upgrading model, also makes its debut in 2015 Shanghai Auto Exhibition. Supplied with 1.5L, 1.8 L power and equipped with electric air conditioning, electric sunroof, GPS navigation, reverse image and other intelligent configurations, this model will bring customers with all-round upgrading of quality perception.

Lifan 620 Generation II

Following the gradual process of marketization and industrialization in new energy vehicles, Lifan Motors has released two models of intermediate & high grade new energy vehicles, i.e. Lifan 720EV and Lifan 820EV. These two EV models adopt corresponding gasoline vehicle models and bodies, matched by charging model and battery replacement model. As the first innovation in China, the battery replacement model applies the chassis battery replacement technology jointly developed by Lifan Motors and Chinese Academy of Science. The battery replacement is increasingly favored by the market, due to its time-saving and convenient features, as well as extended service life of battery. In short, the development of Lifan’s electric vehicles is grabbing more and more attentions from media and people in the related field both at home and abroad.

At Shanghai Auto Exhibition, Lifan Motors also demonstrates its independent “T Strength”. There is a plan that 1.4 T and 2.0 T turbocharged engine exhibited at Shanghai Auto Exhibition will be equipped in 620 Generation II, X40, X70 and other new models.
