From May 28 to 31, 2015, the 18th China (Chongqing) International Investment and Global Sourcing Fair was held in Chongqing International Expo Center. The subject of the fair is Mutual Communication, Global Cooperation. 236 global Top500 enterprises took part in the fair. On 28th, the head of Azerbaijan Automobile Association, the distributor of Lifan Motors in Azerbaijan Mr. Muca Abdullaev and the delegation of Azerbaijan government together presented the fair. During the dinner, the deputy secretary and vice mayor of Chongqing municipality Huang Qifan had a cordial talk with Azerbaijan delegation, and discussed with Mr. Muca Abdullaev for cooperation between Chongqing enterprises and Azerbaijan.

LIFAN is one of the largest private enterprises in China, keeping No.1 in Chongqing export for years. As the dominant force in Chongqing manufacturing industry, the vice mayor Huang Qifan pays great attention to the development of LIFAN. While meeting with Azerbaijan delegation, the mayor asked the current situation of Lifan plant in Azerbaijan and emphasized the development strategy of The Belt and Road Initiative. He said LIFAN was the representative of Chongqing manufacturing and hoped Azerbaijan government and enterprises could strengthen the cooperation with LIFAN to boost Chongqing manufacturing industry stronger.

Mr. Muca Abdullaev introduced the relationship between LIFAN and Azerbaijan to the mayor in detail. Since the cooperation in 2010, over 5000 LIFAN sedans were sold in Azerbaijan, of which the sales keep No.1. The European Games 2015 will be held in Azerbaijan. Lifan720 and Lifan X60 are the official car of the European Games. And Lifan KD plant in Azerbaijan, as always, provides essential support for after-sales service. In the future LIFAN will expand the capacity of the plant in Azerbaijan and promote the equipments, laying a good foundation for further covering neighboring commonwealth of independent states.
