From July 24 to 26, 2015 China Rally Championship (hereafter called CRC) Zhangye station was held in Zhangye, Gansu province. The rally race has attracted 37 racing teams and 118 racing cars to participate. Lifan first new concept Mini SUV LifanX50, through 3 days, 9 stations and 700.3km competition, won the third place in China two-drive S2 level group. As learned, LifanX50 is the only SUV taking part in CRC among its peers.

Zhangye station is praised as one of the most challenging and beautiful stations in CRC. Thus this station is the key battlefield for each racing team each year. The station integrated with desert, gobi and Danxia landform makes the competition more challenging and exciting but also a strict test to the racing cars. The station is divided into two stages. The first stage includes Sheshawo, super stages, Hongwan and Danxia. And the second stage should drive around Pingshan Lake twice and pass through Yinhe stage. The distance of the racing is about 700.3km, and the special stage is 221.8km long which is the gravel road. Lifan racing team, for ten years, has taken part in various rallies and finished the competition 100%. LifanX50 completed the competition at Zhangye station for its first show in rally race.
