Lifan new energy strategy has taken an important step forward. For accelerating the distribution and establishment of new energy field, improving company’s development and growth, advancing market competitiveness and efficiently integrating the group resources, Lifan Shares lately invested in setting up a wholly-owned subsidiary Chongqing Lifan New Energy Co., Ltd.

As learned, the registered capital of the new energy subsidiary is RMB 500million, which located in Caijiagang, Beibei District, Chongqing. The business scope covers the manufacturing, assembly and sales of large EV charging and battery-changing equipment; design and project development of new energy station, organize the project establishment of new energy station; provide charging and battery-changing service for electric cars.

In 2015, LIFAN attaches more attentions on new energy field. On May 25th, LIFAN plans to raise funds of 5.2 billion Yuan through targeted placement in intelligent new energy station, new energy automobile lithium core project and new energy automobile lease. On June 8, Lifan new energy strategy i.Blue 1.0 officially launched, planning to launch 20 electric and hybrid new products before 2020, to realize 500,000 cars for new energy car sales, completing the construction of the ecological chain and industrial chain integrated with internet+, intelligent vehicle, energy internet. On June 19, LIFAN signed the strategic cooperation framework with the management committee of Liangjiang New District, Chongqing, including establishing New Energy Automobile (Chongqing) Investment & Development Co., Ltd, setting up development fund of new energy automobile industry and investing lithium core project of Lifan intelligent new energy car.

Lifan Shares said, Chongqing Lifan New Energy Co., Ltd. would be the core executive body of Lifan new energy strategic plan i.Blue 1.0 (Intelligent Blue Strategy), which avails for LIFAN’s distribution and establishment in new energy industry field and more efficiently boosts the implementation of new energy strategy.
