2015 International Forum (TEDA) on Chinese Automotive Industry Development was held in Tianjin from September 11 to 13. The vice board chairman of Chongqing Lifan Industry (Group) Co., Ltd. Chen Wei said on the forum, the new energy auto is the opportunity for traditional auto enterprise living and surpassing, so the new energy is the Lifan’s future highlight. Lifan opens up the mode of internet + intelligent auto + energy website, stepping forward into the differentiated new energy road and adopting battery changing /battery lease mode to develop the new energy car.
Chen Wei said, the new energy car is divided into three divisions including electric vehicle manufacturing, energy division and auto finance service. Lifan explores on the business mode; adopts battery changing mode and there will be pilotless automobile to deliver the battery in the demand of customers. As learned, the new energy time-sharing lease platform—Pand Auto has launched one-month system test in August. Pand Auto is invested by Lifan Group which provides the auto lease platform of internet + internet of vehicles + car using service in the form of new energy car time-sharing lease, special car lease and enterprise long-time lease. Pand will bring customers with brand new car using experience that users can enjoy the service of long-distant booking, mobile phone unlocking, car return at any time and mobile payment. Relying on the function of One Button for Car Return, simplify the complicated leasing procedure and enjoy convenient car using service. In the later period, Pand Auto will successively develop more car using modes to meet the using habit and trip mode of customers. Chen Wei said, at the end of September, Pand Auto will put several thousands of electric vehicles to provide time-sharing service in Chongqing. Meanwhile, the pilotless driving automatic delivering service will be launched to the market next year.
“As we adopt the mode of battery changing, leaving out the battery, the price and the using cost of Lifan new energy car is just the half of traditional gasoline car”. said Chen Wei. The infrastructure construction is always the problem restricting the development of new energy car. For the purpose of realizing that the gasoline station exists every 3km, it nearly cost thirty years. But it will not cost so long for establishing new energy stations. Lifan Motors will establish 500 new energy stations in future five to ten years. In terms of production capacity, Chen Wei said, “ Lifan is of great courage that our production capacity is 300,000 units and we established a battery factory with 6 billion watt hours which only BYD has the same level in China.”
